about

A collection of responses to a collaged score (pictured) created for and with a drowning beach. Invited artists have made these sound works as intuitive reactions, reimagining an eerie and unpredictable landscape.

The score, created by Joanne Matthews is a visualisation of the original sound work (track 3) which was created after a deep listening session in sea haar and site-responsive singing on a harbour wall.

The work is part of an ongoing multidisciplinary research project by Joanne called Murky Horizons, find out more www.jojomatthews.art/murky-horizons
